#3 …If You Remembered Being Born

If You Remembered Being Born… I think there is a reason that we do not remember anything about being born (not just a scientific one). I suppose if it could be compared to anything, it would be a lot like that scene in The Matrix when Neo is “born” into the real world, but a lot… worse…
Here’s why…

First of all, the first memory of your life would be that of being trapped inside of a woman’s body. Assuming the birth process is just beginning, this woman (aka mom) is probably freaking out. Meanwhile, here you are in a small, dark, gooey cavern not knowing what the hell is going on. All you know is that something is seriously wrong and you want the hell out of there. But have no fear, whats that in the yonder? A LIGHT! This can be only one thing. Freedom from this horrible cavern of death!
So now you know that this has to be the way out, but you are finding it difficult to move on your own. Then what happens? You feel pressure! The cavern is squeezing you towards the small hole. This is both good and bad, but most of all, painful! You will never fit through there, will you?!? The squeezing goes on for quite some time and after an epic struggle, you break free! You are out! Now, you see all kinds of crap that you have never seen and AHHH… that light! It is too bright, what the hell is going on!?
This is where the real fun would begin. After a long struggle to escape the gooey cavern of death, you are faced with very strange surroundings and strange men and women dressed in all white. It is hard to tell whether this is heaven or hell. The answer seems more like hell as one of the men dressed in white grabs you and begins spanking your bottom. From there, you are cleaned off and eventually placed in a room of what appear to be exact clones of yourself. Luckily things get better from here, but I think that it is pretty obvious why we do not remember the process of being born.
We don’t remember because quite frankly… It Would Be Scary.

Haha that WOULD be terrifying. Thank goodness for poor memories, I suppose. There’d be nothing like slinking through the play area at McDonalds, emerging from one of the tubes, and all of a sudden thinking ‘Hmm… this reminds me of…’ Ew.
Oh and they usually wear blue/green, not white.
