#4…If Animals Realized How Strong They Were

If Animals Realized How Strong They Were… and they attacked. If you think about it, there are a ton of animals in this world that are vastly superior to humans in terms of strength, speed, agility, endurance and size. In terms of strength, there are gorillas, lions, elephants and bears. If we look at speed, then the cheetah comes to mind first as well as lions, hyena’s and elk. There are MANY animals out there that are both agile and have excellent endurance. Lions and tigers come to mind first. As far as the largest animals, elephants take the cake for those on land.

It is easy to see that there are many animals to fear if they ever realize the strength, speed and size that they have. What would truly make this scary is if they all realized it together and decided that it was time for payback for the years of humans hunting them (could you blame them?). Even the animals that are not so strong could pose a great threat. Take a look at the common raccoon. Have you ever seen the claws on those guys? They could tear through your flesh like it was warm butter if they really wanted to. Meanwhile, the coyotes would be stealthily sneaking up behind you as you struggle with the raccoon(s).
Even if you see the coyote(s) before while they are still a couple hundred feet away, their speed would enable them to reach you in a matter of just a couple seconds. But this is just childs play. Where are the lions, tigers and bears oh my? Well luckily in the states we do not have to worry about them in the wild. But there is ONE place that I know I would stay as far away as possible… THE ZOO. This is where the strongest and fastest animals are and if there was even a chance that they could escape, the fact that they knew just how strong they were would make them deadly killing machines. Imagine a lion pouncing on you with razor sharp teeth and even sharper claws. The full brunt of his weight would have you pinned to the ground…. helpless. Elephants would simply stomp you flat while the gorillas played with you as if you were but a toy.
On the flip side, what if animals that thought they were strong, and probably were for their size decided to attack as well. Squirrels and mice come to mind. This would almost be comical… that is until you had 100 squirrels coming at you with their little squirrelly teeth and skittery movements. You could probably fend them off if you were willing to squish and batter them, but it would not be pretty. Really, this whole situation would not be pretty.
The death toll would surely be higher than any natural disaster the world has ever experienced. If you have ever seen the show “When Animal’s Attack”, you can imagine this exact scenario.
If animals realized how strong they were… most definitely, it would be scary.

I am about to go camping in Glacier, and I’m terrified that bears are going to suddenly learn their strength! it would be scary.
My parent’s have fed the squirrel’s for year’s but for some reason even after I moved out I still have nightmares about those suckers. I wake up and there are hundred’s of them around my bed all of them carrying set’s of pliers. (I kid you not I am scared the squirrel’s want my nuts)
