Made much less confusion, but I was told somewhere that it was supposed to be racist now.... ? "Oriental" means "from the Orient," therefore I am confused as to how it is racist... And saying "Asian" generates a lot of confusion. Asian? Are they from China? India? Mongolia? Japan? Pakistan? O.o ... Then again, maybe it's the hostilities and pride that make Oriental be racist... Chinese, Japanese, Koreans.. all fall under that big umbrella, and they understandably take major offense to being confused with each other. I think the term used to be “Oriental” instead of Asian.
