Scary In The News - Cell Phone Users Tracked Unknowingly
Jun 4th, 2008 by Jon
Researchers recently tracked 100,000 cell phone users outside of the U.S. unknowingly. This brings up a lot of concerns of the government becoming somewhat of a Big Brother if it is so easy for some research company to do so. Personally I think it is really scary that they were allowed to do this without informing the people being tracked.
However, the study did yield some interesting results. They found that most people stay within a 10 mile radius of their home throughout their daily lives. I don’t think this is all that surpising however. Most people find traveling hectic and work 5 days a week as well.
